Department of Culture and the Arts, Government of Western Australia

The Department of Culture and the Arts (DCA) is committed to enriching the lives of all Western Australians by supporting the arts and cultural sectors to provide unique and transforming experiences. The Department, which includes the State Records Office, along with the following organisations, form the Culture and Arts portfolio: Art Gallery of Western Australia, Perth Theatre Trust, ScreenWest, State Library of Western Australia and the Western Australian Museum. DCA provides funding to a large number of arts and cultural organisations, groups, arts workers and artists.

BHP Billiton

As part of the JUMP program, resources company BHP Billiton will support Carclew Youth Arts to offer regional artists the opportunity to be mentored by an established artist of national standing. This partnership between BHP Billiton and Carclew Youth Arts first commenced in 2006, designed to contribute significantly to the creative life of South Australia and to have a direct impact on thousands of young people, encompassing Adelaide and key regional areas such as Roxby Downs and the Upper Spencer Gulf Region. In 2007, the partnership was recognised at a national level winning the Australia Business Arts Foundation (ABaF) Australia Council Award for Young People.

Established in 2000, ArtsHub is now one of Australia’s leading websites serving the creative and arts industries. ArtsHub is visited over 100,000 times each month and offers access to the latest news, views, reviews, jobs, events, company profiles and general classifieds from the Australian creative and arts industries. Over 800 arts companies subscribe to ArtsHub advertising their companies, latest events, and jobs on offer.
Access Arts

Access Arts Queensland is the peak body working with artists, cultural workers and their communities across Queensland. We deliver a range of Professional Arts and Cultural services to Queensland communities with an emphasis on those communities, groups and individuals who experience disability and disadvantage. Access Arts utilises an innovative and unique approach to reciprocal partnerships with individuals, regional Queensland communities, interstate and international organisations. These partnerships are instrumental in producing quality exhibitions, performances, projects, workshops and professional development outcomes.
