JUMP is a national framework for supporting mentoring relationships between young and emerging artists, and established professionals in the arts industry.
JUMP supports mentoring relationships through access to online profiling, professional development opportunities, and networking on a national scale, along with some creative project funding.
JUMP also offers more places annually, and covers more artform areas, than other programs currently available.
Each annual JUMP program lasts for 10 months. The 2012 program runs from January 2012 through to the end of October 2012.
We strongly recommend mentees attend the induction event relevant to their state or territory.
Past mentees found induction highly valuable in terms of clarifying program expectations, planning mentorship relationships, kick-starting mentorship projects, and networking with other excellent young and emerging artists.
The JUMP program will generally cover intra-state travel costs associated with attending induction events.
